Bronxwood : Coe Booth

Reading Bronxwood is like reading about ones struggle in life. Most average teens can relate to what this book is about. I've only read about a third of this book and I can already tell you , if you are looking to read a more modern book this is the right one. Bronxwood is about a young adult name Ty whos had a rough life growing up. Barely speaks to his mother , Father is in jail and his younger brother is left in foster care. Ty tries to make the best of his current situation hes trying to make enough money where he could get a home for him and his brother. Unfortunately Ty has to make certain decisions he isn't proud of in order to make that dream of his a reality . And he's on his own and he has provided and kept his own since he could remember . But now his estranged father is out of jail , his dad wants to makes things right between him and his son but Ty sees it as his father only wants him to reconnect with him if it's convenient for his father which sad to say but the truth.

Most kids want to read things that are actually true and not made up , not sugar coded , I recommend this book for teens and and young adults to read because it shows what individuals actually go through on a daily basis. So if you are interested in modern books that keep it real check out or buy this book. You won't regret it .
