Hide and Seek
By: Sara Shepard
Hide or you'll be found.
Imagine having to pretend to be your twin sister who is now dead. Emma now has to fill her sister's shoes as she searches her murderer. Little by little, Emma is watching what she had thought was a perfect family, turn into a disaster. While having her adopted little sister Laurel constantly on her back and even worse sneaking around with Emma's ex-boyfriend Thayer, she needs to remain alerted and be careful herself because "if Emma's not careful, she'll end up just like me". There was some suspicion that her own sister, Laurel, may have been the one to kill her. She's always had it out for her sister ever since she started dating Thayer, which was the person they were both crushing on. Emma went through each one of her sister's friends, clearing every one of them as murder suspects, but the one person she was hoping to eliminate, Laurel, "suddenly wasn't so airtight".
I recommend reading this book because it's an updated read and some people might be able to relate to it. Also, more and more interesting, twisted, and unexpected situations occur that will keep the reader alert.
