The Cold War was one of the worst time periods in American history.

 Joe McCarthy, Winsconsins senator at the time is one of the biggest anticommuniost that ever lived. From him bring rasied as a boondock chicken farmer with only a grade school education. Also he has mannaged to survive many illnesses whitch would describe his toughness as a senator.

As a senator he described as "ambitious" and "hardworking" also "Talented" in my oppinoin Joe McCarthy is one of the greatest senators the United States has ever seen and also he has one of the greatest speeches from a political person too.
